Cathy Geraldine Chisholm

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cathy Geraldine Chisholm at the age of 66 on August 17, 2026.

Born in Hartsville, SC, Cathy was the cherished daughter of the late James E. "J.E." Chisholm and Lila Tyner Chisholm. She dedicated much of her life to the construction industry, finding joy in both her work and the simple pleasures of yardwork and family gatherings.

She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory: her son, Shane Polson, and his wife, Ashley; her beloved grandchildren, MaKayla Polson and Tucker Polson. Cathy is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Trudy Chisholm and Marie Chisholm, along with nieces, Genie Chisholm and Katie Chisholm, and many other great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her daughter Tabitha Jo "T.J." Griggs, her brothers, Gene Chisholm and Danny Chisholm, and her nephew, Josh Chisholm.
