Carolyn Ruth Poston Hall

     It is with heavy hearts that we share with you the passing of Mrs. Carolyn Ruth Poston Hall. Mrs. Hall passed away Sunday morning, August 9th, 2026, at the age of 70.

     A native of Rockingham, NC, Mrs. Hall was a daughter of the late Henry & Amy Boan Poston. She loved to be outdoors, sitting under the tree, with her dogs. Carolyn also enjoyed reading books.

     She is survived by her children, Thomas (Torie) Hall and Jennifer (Chris) Gregory; grandchildren: Deakon (Elexys) Hall, Bentlee (Carlie) Hall, Nick Gregory, Chase Gregory, Peyton Gregory, and Maykayla Gregory; great-grandchildren, Layton Weed and Hayes Hall. Also surviving are her siblings: Julius H. Poston, Margie Cox, Minnie Louise Johnson, and Peggy Forbis. She is also survived by a special friend, Cassie Gainey, and many nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas G. Hall; daughter, Kimberly Hall; siblings: Novella Kibler, Henery Poston, Jr., Bobby Jacklynn Wix, Susie Poston, Charlie W. Poston, Willie E. Poston, and Walter Louis Poston.
