Brenda Gail Howard Watford, age 62, passed away March 20, 2024 at her residence in Hartsville. A Memorial service will be held March 30 at 11:00 am at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home in Sumter. Margaret Dancy will officiate.

Brenda was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Olin J. Howard, Sr. and Elizabeth Dixon Howard. She worked with the South Carolina Department of Correction as a Correction officer.

Surviving are her husband, Allen Watford, Hartsville; two sons, Michael Howard, Sumter and Chris Caples, Sumter; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; three sisters, Victoria Boltin, Manning, Margaret Dancy, Sumter and Linda (Geoff) Zieman, Cary, N.C.; two brothers, Olin J. (Debbie) Howard, Jr. Sumter and Joseph E. Howard, Alabama. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly E. Howard.
