Blanche Gainey Gardner

Mrs. Blanche Gainey Gardner, age 79 went to her Heavenly Home on June 21, 2206 while at her residence.

Mrs. Gardner was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Carlisle and Georgia Hall Gainey. She was a faithful member of Spring Branch Baptist Church where she was very active in serving the church. She was employed with Ashley Furniture in Florence and was previously employed with Kendall Mills in Bethune and McBee Town Hall. She and her late husband had owned and operated Huns Restaurant in McBee.

Surviving is one son, Kelley (Sandi) Gardner, McBee; two sisters, Vare Hancock, Hartsville and Jean Gainey, Hartsville; one brother Lester (Betty) Gainey, McBee; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kent (Hun) Gardner; one sister, Ethree Rast; three brothers, David Gainey, James Gainey and Clarence Gainey.
