Betty Steen Stratton

Mrs. Betty Steen Stratton age 85 went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 11 at Carolina Pines RMC. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Alvin Rogers will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Betty was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Roland Otto and Helen Louise James Steen. She was an active member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet (David) Tucker, Hartsville and Lisa (Michael) Goodale, Hartsville; three grandchildren, Stacey Legg, Florence, Kerrie Hatchell, Fort Mill and Sherrie White, Greensboro, N.C.; four great grandchildren, Tucker Legg, Florence, Nathan Legg, Florence, Jacob Hatchell, Fort Mill and Logan White, Greensboro, N.C.; several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Josie Stratton; one son, Jody Eugene Stratton; one sister Barbara Ann Price; one brother, James E. Steen.
