Funeral services for Betty Norwood Lee age 75, will be held Thursday at 2:00 at the Bethel United Methodist Church. Rev. Tim Skipper will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be following the service at the church.

Mrs. Lee was born in Darlington a daughter of the late Jim and Eadelle Norwood. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Church. She was a lifetime caregiver to others and found pleasure doing so and she got her strength serving Jesus Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Melanie (Pastor Tim) Skipper, Hartsville and Wanda (Randy) Bell, Hartsville; three grandchildren, Rev. Justin Bell, North Carolina, Olivia (Tim) Phillips, Georgia and Brandon (Kayla) Maloch, Darlington; two great grandchildren, Maxton Maloch, Darlington and Zion Phillips, Hartsville; one brother, Murray (Ruby) Norwood, Hartsville; two sisters, Claudia (George) Braddock, Hartsville and Louellen Lewis, Augusta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wallace Lee, Jr.; six brothers, R.A. , Marvin, J.L., James, Clarence and Lawrence Norwood; three sisters, June Abbott, Eleanor Bonnoitt and Mary Yarborough.

The family would like to give special thanks to her sister Claudia Braddock for her love and support and the Staff at Morrell Nursing Home, Ashley, Regina, Stephanie, Joseph, Samatha, Gloria and Agape Hospice, Dan & Sheron.
