Betty Lynn Hammond

Mrs. Betty Lynn Hammond, 49, of Hartsville, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, December 29^th, 2022.

The family invites friends for a time of visitation from 2:00 until 4:00 on Thursday afternoon, January 5^th, 2023, at Norton Funeral Home.  The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023, from the residence, 2020 Possum Bay Rd., Hartsville.  

Mrs. Hammond was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Arthur David & Rose Marie Hammond.  Betty was the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.  She always did her best to make sure everyone was taken care of.  Her smile could light up the entire room.  She was always laughing and having a good time.  Betty loved being around her family and her very best friends.  She was everyone’s shoulder and never met a stranger.  Heaven truly gained the most beautiful soul. 

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, William H. Euten of the home; children, Angel A. (Chris) Euten, Jonathon L. (Kyla) Euten, KW (Julia) Segars & Blake; grandchildren, Clarence Euten & AJ; siblings: Mary Hammond, Boogie Hammond, Sissy Smith, Pete (Alice) and Henry Euten; close family: Buddy (Virginia), Nancy (Arthur), Randy (Linny), Markus (Samantha), Jaydan, Emilee, and Chase.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William “Bubba” Euten.
