Betty Jo Bare

Betty Jo Latham Bare, 92, of Anderson, SC, widow of Goodman Bare, Jr,
passed away August 9, 2022.

Born in Iva February 24, 1930, she was the daughter of Lloyd and
Lorene Burdette Latham. A longtime resident of Broadway Lake, Betty
Jo was a trained nurse but will be remembered by most as a manager at
Skateland USA. She also spent many years as a volunteer at Meals on
Wheels of Anderson.

She is survived by sons: Goodman Bare III of Summerville, and Roger
Latham Bare of Placerville, CA ; daughter: Shelly Bare Brand (Wes) of
Hartsville; sister: Barbara Latham Metcalfe of Anderson.
Grandchildren: Hillary Elizabeth Brand, Kylee Jones Brand, Carolina
Bare Batten, and Goodman Bare IV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter,
Elizabeth Bare, granddaughter, Madison Elizabeth Bare, and brothers,
William Robert Latham, Louie "Pete" Latham, and Richard Neil Latham.

A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made
to Meals on Wheels of Anderson.
