Audrey Tyner

Florence, SC

     Audrey Tyner, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She is remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her.

     She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Blanche "Skeetie" Scott and Woodrow "Papa" Tyner, and by her beloved brother, Charles Scott. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

     She is survived by her loving children, Jacqui McDuffie and her husband Jimmy McDuffie, and Crystal Steen and her partner Vern Smith Jr. Her cherished grandchildren include Courtney, Jami, Kelsi, Summer, Sabrina, April, Katelyn Reed, and Jackson Bain, along with a host of beloved great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Marvin, Zippy, Candi and Melanie as well as extended family and dear friends.

     Audrey had a deep love for her dogs, Snuggles, Thumper, and Helen. During Audrey's final days, her family came together to surround her with love.

     Heartfelt thanks to Courtney for opening her home and to Agape Hospice for their compassionate support.

     In keeping with Audrey's wishes, there will be no formal service. Her family will honor her life privately, carrying forward the love and memories she gave them. As Audrey always said, "This is not goodbye...it's later."
