Mrs. Artie Jeanette Howle, 85, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 7, 1934 in Lincoln County, NC, the daughter of William Daniel and Dorothy Geneva Huffman Philbeck. She worked for the Handy Clean Company and retired after 30 years of service. Artie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be deeply missed.

Artie was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Howle in 2013 and her sister, Joyce Cannon. She is survived by her loving children; Shelia Henderson (Lester) of Greensboro, NC and Patricia Morrison (Mike) of Brown Summit, NC, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel in Greensboro, NC and the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. at The Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Hartsville (Patrick) SC.
