Annie Ruth Morris

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Annie Ruth Outlaw Morris age 83 widow of Mack Allen Morris will be held 4:00pm Sunday at the Clyde Church of God.  Pastor Daniel Eli Poston will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Clyde Church of God Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.

Mrs. Morris went home to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 15 while at Carolina Pines RMC in Hartsville.  She was born in McBee, SC to the late Robert Franklin Outlaw and the late Lula Self Outlaw Martin.  She was a long member of Clyde Church of God and worked at Dupont.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Darlene (Rick) Griggs, Columbia; sons, Wayne (Deborah) Morris, Cassatt, Billy (Kim) Morris, McBee; sister, Docia Outlaw (Dr. Bob Collins), Gainesville, FL; grandchildren, Daniel (Katie) Morris, Cassatt, Zach (Kristin) Griggs, Lexington, Courtney (Jim) Beattie, Hartsville, Lisa (Hunter) Frye, Camden, Jackson Morris, McBee, Lindsay Morris, McBee; great grandchildren, Hudson Morris and Elsie Morris, both of Cassatt, Hayden Griggs and Holland Griggs both of Lexington, Emerson Beattie and Ellis Beattie, both of Hartsville, Charlie Frye and Ruby Frye, both of Camden; several nieces and nephews; loving friends, Lourene Davis, Lois Munn and Grace Rollins.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Lee Outlaw, Frank Leo Outlaw, Leonard Washington Outlaw and John Thomas Martin.

The family would like to give special thanks for the special care and treatment Mrs. Morris received while a resident at Morningside (The Legacy).
