Alva West Holland

Hartsville, SC 

     Alva West Holland, 92, known as “Al,” passed away December 28th, 2025, at Morrell Nursing Center in Hartsville, SC.

     Al was born in Camden, SC, the first of two children born to Rosa Bramlett Holland and Henry Hagood Holland. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Emily Holland Laney, wife, Janice Newsome Holland, and a nephew, David Campbell.

     He was the proud and loving father of Sharon Holland Longabaugh (Mark), grandfather of William Perry Longabaugh and John Maddison Longabaugh, and uncle of Cathy Shuford (Jacob) and Angela Jordan.

     A private, graveside service will be held at a later date.
