It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mr. Alpha Wheeler Floyd.

Mr. Floyd age 75 passed away on April 14, 2026 while at the McLeod Hospice house, with his loving family by his side.

Mr. Floyd was born in Kingstree, SC the son of the late Samuel Andrew and Cora Mae Powell Floyd.  He worked construction most of his life.  He enjoyed fishing, he was a loving father, grandfather, he loved spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Clint Floyd (Lanie), Florence, Joseph Floyd (Rebecca), Hartsville, Tina Vause (Chucky), Ladson, Brandy Adams (Brian), grandchildren, Noah Floyd (Lillie), Columbia, Hannah Lynch (Blane), Florence, Racheal Floyd, Florence, Jeffery Gainey, Tori Gainey (Jeremy), Brooke Floyd, RebeccaJo Floyd, Charles Vause, George Vause, Matthew Vause, Ashton Hodge (Lewis), Dylan Adams, Breiann Adams, Courtney O'dell, sixteen great grandchildren, a special friend, Beth Gaskins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Connie Renee Floyd, granddaughter, Gabriele Reelene Floyd, great granddaughter, Raelynn Gabriele Davis, brother, Jack Floyd, sister, Mary Floyd and Linda McGee.

The family will be receiving guest on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the residence of Mr. Joseph Floyd, 100 Bucks Lane, Hartsville, SC for a time of visitation and remembrance..
