Alice Gainey Johnson

Funeral services for Alice Gainey Johnson age 81 will be held Thursday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. John Parks will officiate. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Ray William Gainey and Margarite Johnson Gainey. She was a member of the Morton Presbyterian Church. She retired from the Saleeby Center. She received a Nursing Degree from the Florence-Darlington TECH.

Surviving are her husband, R.B. Johnson, Sr. Hartsville; one son, Bruce Johnson, Hartsville; two grandchildren, Ashley (Kenzie) Huggins, Hartsville and Austin (Shaina) Johnson, Aiken; four great grandchildren, Destiny Johnson, Rylie Huggins, Lily Huggins and Mason Towne; one niece, Robin Thurmond, Sumter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Rodney (Chip) Johnson, Jr.; one daughter, Cathy Johnson; one granddaughter, Taylor Towne and one great granddaughter, Olivia Towne.
