Eldridge Norton was born in Bennettsville and grew up in Laurel Hill N.C. He graduated from Laurel Hill High School, Presbyterian Junior College, Pembroke State University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
He is married to Eydie Tolson Norton and he has three children, Scott, Candace and Kelsey Norton. He is a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church where he is a Sunday School Teacher, Usher and a former Deacon. He is also a member of the Gideons and the Hartsville Lions Club.
Eldridge was the Founder of Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville in 1973 and the Founder of Norton Funeral Home in Bishopville in 1988. It has been an honor for me to serve the families of Hartsville and Bishopville and the surrounding areas for all these years.

Scott Norton was born in Hartsville, S.C., the son of Eldridge Norton and Linda Byrd. Scott is married to the former Candace Dempsey, they have one daughter, Kirsten Grace Norton. Scott graduated from Hartsville High School and Fayetteville Technical College. After graduating from College in 1992, Scott went to work with his dad at Norton Funeral Home. He is a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and the Hartsville Civitan Club. Scott enjoys working with families in the Hartsville, Bishopville, and surrounding areas.
