Mrs. Doris DuBose Parnell, widow of George W. Parnell, age 79 passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010.  Services will be held Friday, Feb. 19 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville.  Rev. Jim Baker will officiate.  Burial will be in Darlington Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be held Thursday 6-8pm at the funeral home.  Mrs. Parnell was born in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of the late Glenn DuBose, Sr. and Allie Meeks DuBose.  She was a member of Wayside Baptist Church.  Surviving are:  Daughters:  Cindee (Carl) Jernigan, Darlington, Judy (Dennis) Dyches, Columbia.  Sister:  Libby Huggins, Lamar.  Grandchildren:  Brian and Brent Jernigan, Dana Plumley.  Great Grandchildren:  Brianna, Bryson, and Carson Jernigan, Arizona Plumley.  Extended family:  Dylan and Crystal Darity.  Predeceased by a son Robert Carroll Parnell, and a brother Glenn DuBose, Jr.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Homecare and Hospice, 805 8^th Avenue, Dillon, SC, 29536.  www.nortonfh.net
