Funeral services for Ervin Curtis Boone, age 86, husband of the late Rosa Carol Moore Boone, who passed away Jan. 29, will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at St. John United Methodist Church, Springhill Community of Lee County. Rev. Sim Smith & Rev. bob Allan will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 pm at the Funeral Home. Mr. Boone was born in Camden a son of the late Lewis W. Boone & Mary Ellen Long Boone Jones. He was retired from Dupont after 35 years of service, a member of the Masons & Shrines, member of the Southern Methodist Church, member of the American Legion, was an Army Veteran of WWII, having served in the 101st Airborne 502nd. Division Company I. Surviving are 3 sons, Curtis (Donna) Boone, Clark (Annie) Boone, Alan Boone, Camden, daughter, Henrietta Crissman, Lugoff, 10 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren.
